EAGLE SCOUT PROGRAM
2002-2003 was the first time that the Tennessee Valley Chapter held the Eagle Scout Program in several years; however, we plan to continue to sponsor this activity in the future. The winner of our Chapter Eagle Scout Program was Mark DeRamus of Scout Troop 364. Troop 364 is sponsored by Latham Methodist Church and the Scoutmaster is Mr. Walter Whitacre. Mark is a graduate of Grissom High School in the class of 2002 and is now a freshman at Auburn University. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Steve DeRamus of Huntsville. In addition to winning the Tennessee Valley Chapter award, Mark also was selected as the winner of the Alabama State Society Contest.
